University Account and SUKAT
SUKAT is a database containing information about all users at Stockholm University, both employees and students. All users receive a university account (linked to IT access), which provides access to a variety of services, such as email, wireless network, file storage, the learning platform Canvas, etc. Through your university account, you can access library services and get a university card (printing and copying card).
In Account Management, you can administer your university account, such as activating wireless network (eduroam), blocking university cards, etc.
At the department, Anneli Hilmersson is responsible for SUKAT.

Wireless Network – Eduroam
The wireless network Eduroam is a collaboration between university networks, primarily in Europe, aimed at offering free network access on university campuses. Those who have activated eduroam at Stockholm University can use it at many other universities around the world, just as visitors from other universities worldwide can gain network access when visiting Stockholm University.
Eduroam also works at several libraries in Stockholm and, thanks to a collaboration between Eduroam and The Cloud, also at train stations, airports, and harbors.

Printing and Copying – Printomat
Printomat is a so-called "follow me-print" system. This means that you print to a print queue and can then retrieve your document whenever you want at any compatible printer (printomat) in the network by logging in to the machine with your university card. You can also copy in color or black and white on the same machine. Scanning is also available on the same machine; you scan a file and it is sent to you by email. More information is available at the printers/copiers. There are two printers in the mail room at the department.
Computer Issues
If something is wrong with your work computer, this should be reported to Fredric Ericsson, tel. 08-1207 64 10.
