The IA system is used at Stockholm University to report incidents related to the work environment, safety and the environment.

Use the system when something has happened, or when you identify a risk that needs to be followed up.

Acute situations

The IA system must not be used for acute incidents. If the situation is urgent, raise the alarm immediately.

  • Ongoing or suspected crime: call 112
  • Security guards, 24/7, Campus Frescati and Campus Albano: 08-16 42 00
  • Backup number in case of telephone disruption: 08-15 42 00

Report an incident in IA

In the system, you report incidents and risks relating to the work environment, safety or the environment.

Report via computer

  1. Select the type of incident.
  2. Complete the form and describe what has happened.
  3. Submit the report.

Once the case has been registered, you will receive a confirmation by email.

Report via the app

  1. Download the IA app from Google Play or the App Store.
  2. Log in and follow the instructions in the app to register your incident.

Select incident type

In the IA system, choose the incident type that best matches the situation.

  • Risk observation: A discovered risk that could lead to problems if not addressed.
  • Near miss: An incident that almost resulted in an accident.
  • Accident and commuting accident: An injury that occurred at work or while traveling to or from the workplace.
  • Work-related illness: Health problems that develop over time due to the work environment.

The Head of Department or manager is responsible for investigating the case and ensuring that measures are implemented. Work environment representatives and chief safety officers have access to the case.

  • Property or security: Damage to equipment, theft, or other security issues, including fire.
  • Safety observation: Unsafe situations that are not urgent but should be followed up.

Example of a security observation:
The corridor on floor B2 feels dark and unsafe in the evenings.

The security function investigates and follows up cases. The relevant manager can access cases concerning their own area of responsibility.

  • Environment: Violation of environmental legislation or the university’s environmental management system.
  • Improvement suggestion: Ideas for how environmental work can be developed.

The central environmental function receives and follows up environmental cases. The relevant manager can access cases concerning their own area of responsibility.

Managing cases in IA

This information is intended for managers, heads of department, directors and work environment representatives.

Log in to IA (for authorised roles)

Authorisation

  • Heads of department and managers are granted access automatically via SUKAT.
  • Work environment representatives are added manually following information from the chief safety representative.
  • Other users are granted access after contacting IA support.
