First aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
Attending a first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) course is essential to ensure a swift response in the event of a medical emergency.
All employees at Stockholm should have the opportunity to complete basic CPR training and refresh their knowledge annually.
About the training
The first aid and CPR training sessions are provided by the company Avonova. The training is conducted by an instructor certified by the Swedish Resuscitation Council (HLR-rådet).

- CPR for first responders
Training location
The training can take place either at Avonova or at your department/unit. If the training is held at your department/unit, you are responsible for booking a suitable venue.
Bookings and prices
As a manager, you can book training sessions by contacting Avonova via phone or email.
All training sessions are available as both basic and refresher courses. These two standard courses are centrally funded by the university.
When placing an order, always provide
- name and title of the requester
- department/office
- whether the training should be conducted in English.
Customised training
The department or office covers the cost of customised training. In such cases, you need to request a quote from Avonova.
