Athena

Athena is the centralised learning management system offered by the university.

In Athena, you as a teacher plan the pedagogical work for both campus-based courses and distance courses. Other uses include support for collaboration between teachers.

Athena has the following functionality, among others:

  • Planning function to structure the course
  • Learning objectives
  • Calendar of events
  • Automatically generated groups
  • Communication
    • Via announcements
    • Internal messaging with notifications
    • Discussion forum
  • Assignment submissions
  • Text comparisons in Urkund
  • Anonymous submission
  • Peer review
  • Group submission
  • Assignments (no submission required)
  • Test tool (self-correcting test)
  • Collaborate in a common document
  • Surveys (simple questionnaires)
  • There is also a mobile app.
