Career programme – from academia to the labour market
The Human Resources Office, in consultation with the trade unions, is running a new pilot career programme with ten places.
The programme is delivered in collaboration with Starck & Partner to support academic staff who wish to establish themselves in the labour market outside the university. Participants will learn how to translate their academic experience into in-demand skills, understand the Swedish labour market and work strategically towards securing employment.
The programme consists of four parts: clarifying one’s value and creating a strong CV, understanding the labour market and the importance of networking, preparing for interviews, and developing a concrete action plan.
The aim is to provide participants with greater clarity, increased self-confidence and practical tools to secure employment outside academia.
The programme is offered in both Swedish and English.
