Researchers must draw up a data management plan (DMP) for their research project.
In DMPonline there are templates based on requirements from specific research funders, such as the Swedish Research Council and Horizon Europe. Our locally developed template (‘SU-VR DMP template’) follows the Swedish Research Council's template and contains machine-readable multiple choice questions, which facilitates completion and simplifies future archiving of the data management plan.
A data management plan is a ‘living’ document that should be kept updated throughout the project. You can choose to write the plan in English or Swedish, as long as your funder does not require a specific language.
