Staff parking
As an employee, you can obtain a car parking permit for Frescati and Albano. Outdoor bicycle racks and secure bicycle parking are also available. You need a subscription to use the secure bicycle parking.
Parking permits, fees and subscriptions are managed digitally.
Bicycle parking
Outdoor bicycle racks and secure bicycle parking are available at Frescati and Albano. The Bicycle parking page provides details of locations, subscriptions and rules for electric bicycle batteries.
Car parking permits
Your parking permit is digital and linked to your vehicle registration number. You do not need a parking sticker.
Request a parking permit
An authorised person at your department or office requests a parking permit on your behalf.
The following roles can submit a request:
- head of department
- head of administration
- head of office
- person responsible for access cards and keys at the department or office.
Activate your parking permit
The person placing the order will receive a code, which you use to activate the permit.
Once you have received a code, activate your permit in the SmartPark app.
- Open the SmartPark app.
- Select Parkeringstillstånd (Parking permits).
- Enter your vehicle registration number.
- Enter the code and select Fortsätt (Continue).
Your permit is activated immediately.

Car parking fees and payment
When you park, start your parking session in the SmartPark app by selecting the zone and duration. Current prices are shown in the app.
- The parking fee covers a 24-hour period.
- The staff rate applies every day.
If you move your car between Frescati and Albano on the same day, your parking session remains valid.
Heated car parks
You can park in a heated car park if you have a valid parking permit. Current prices are available in the SmartPark app.
Heated car parks are available at the following locations:
- Frescati: NPQ car park, Svante Arrhenius väg 20 E
- Albano: Albano car park, Greta Arwidssons väg 18
