Staff parking
If you have a parking permit, you pay the staff rate at Campus Frescati and Campus Albano. You can also take out a subscription for bicycle parking.
Parking permit for cars
Your parking permit is digital and linked to your vehicle registration number.
You do not need a sticker.
Order a parking permit
A manager or administrator orders the parking permit on your behalf.
The following roles can place an order:
- Head of department
- Administrative manager
- Office manager
- Person responsible for access cards and keys at a department or unit
Activate your parking permit
The person placing the order will receive a code, which you use to activate the permit.
Once you have received a code, activate your permit in the SmartPark app.
How to:
- Open the SmartPark app.
- Select Parking permit.
- Enter your vehicle registration number.
- Enter the code and select Continue.
Download the app:
When parking, you must start your parking session in the app by selecting the zone and duration.
Fees and validity
Current prices are available in the SmartPark app.
- The fee is charged per 24-hour period.
- The staff rate applies every day.
If you move your car between Campus Frescati and Campus Albano on the same day, your parking session remains valid.
Heated garages
You can park in a heated garage if you have a valid parking permit.

- Campus Frescati: NPQ Garage, Svante Arrhenius väg 20 E
- Campus Albano: Albano Garage, Greta Arwidssons väg 18
Bicycle parking
You can park your bicycle in bicycle parking facilities and garages or at outdoor bicycle racks.
- Campus Frescati: the bicycle parking facility at Södra parkeringen and the NPQ garage
- Campus Albano: the bicycle parking facility in Albanogaraget. Batteries must not be stored here.
Take out a subscription
You need a subscription to park in a bicycle storage facility or garage. You can take out a subscription in the SmartPark app, where you can also see current prices.
E-bike batteries
For safety reasons, special rules apply to e-bike batteries.
E-bike batteries may only be stored in the following locations:
- the NPQ garage, Svante Arrhenius väg 20 E (Campus Frescati)
- the bicycle parking facility at Södra parkeringen
- outdoor bicycle racks.
Lithium-ion batteries
Lithium-ion batteries for e-bikes, e-scooters and other vehicles must not be brought into university premises. This also applies to larger lithium-ion batteries (over 10 Ah).
