Bicycle parking
At Frescati and Albano, there are outdoor bicycle racks and locked bicycle parking facilities for bicycles and e-bikes. Specific rules apply to the storage and charging of e-bike batteries.
You can park your bicycle in an outdoor bicycle rack or use one of the locked bicycle parking facilities. A subscription is required to use the locked facilities.
Lithium-ion batteries for e-bikes
Lithium-ion batteries used in e-bikes, e-scooters and similar means of transport must not be brought into, stored or charged on university premises. The ban also applies to other lithium-ion batteries with a capacity exceeding 10 Ah.
E-bikes with the battery attached can be parked in outdoor bicycle racks. At some locked bicycle parking facilities, e-bike batteries may also be stored or charged.

You can park both bicycles and e-bikes here. The e-bike battery may remain attached to the bicycle when it is parked outdoors.
Bicycle cage at Södra parkeringen

The bicycle cage is a locked bicycle parking facility. You need a subscription to use it.
You may store and charge e-bike batteries here.
NPQ garage
Svante Arrhenius väg 20 E
The NPQ garage has locked bicycle parking for employees only. You need a subscription to use the bicycle parking facility.
You may store e-bike batteries here, but there are no facilities for charging them.
Albano
Outdoor bicycle racks
You can park both bicycles and e-bikes here. The e-bike battery may remain attached to the bicycle when it is parked outdoors.
Bicycle garage

The bicycle garage at Albano has locked bicycle parking. You need a subscription to use the bicycle parking facility.
E-bike batteries must not be stored or charged in the Albano garage.
Subscription for locked bicycle parking
Subscription and price
Until 31 December 2026, a subscription for locked bicycle parking costs SEK 50 per month. After that, you can find the current price in the SmartPark app.
Get a subscription
- Open the SmartPark app.
- Book a bicycle garage space and enter A-hus Stockholm cykeltillstånd för inhägnade platser.
- Download the Parakey app.
- Once the booking is complete, you will receive a personal digital key in the app.
- Use your mobile phone to unlock and enter the bicycle cage or bicycle garage.
