Recycling and waste management
At Albano, recycling bins are available in each department and division.
At Frescati, there are dedicated recycling rooms.
AV technology

Lecture halls, teaching rooms and classrooms at Frescati are equipped with AV technology. All lecture halls and classrooms also have desktop computers.

Albano
AV technicians are on site at Albano on weekdays (excluding public holidays) 07:30–16:30.
During lunch hours, 12:00–12:45, only telephone support is available.

Booking stands and exhibition spaces
It is possible to book exhibition spaces and book stands in the Arrhenius Laboratories and the Södra huset.
Who may organise exhibitions and how this is to be done is regulated in a policy document. Please note that no sales are permitted.

When booking, it is possible to hire tables, chairs and screens.
Fruit and milk
Departments and divisions can order fruit baskets via the university’s contracted supplier, Fruktkuriren.
If your organisation has a subscription, you can also add milk to the delivery.
- Fruit baskets are delivered twice a week: Mondays and Wednesdays before 12:00.
- Orders are placed via the supplier’s portal, accessible through the Service Portal.

Coffee and water machines
Stockholm University has an agreement for coffee and water machines that covers delivery, servicing and refilling.
Cabinet service (office supplies)
Cabinet service (Skåpservice) means office supplies are regularly replenished in the organisation’s shared storage. The service is provided by Lyreco.

Teknikergruppen
Teknikergruppen offers various services related to premises and operations.
Resting room, shower room, nursing room
There are resting rooms and shower rooms available at Södra Frescati and Albano. A nursing room is available in Studenthuset.
Plants
In the university’s shared spaces, such as corridors and kitchenettes, there are plants that are maintained by the university’s contracted supplier, Hässelby Blommor.
The service includes watering, fertilising, pruning, cleaning, and replacing plants that have withered or lost their decorative value.
Reuse
At SU, there is the opportunity to reuse office furniture and laboratory equipment.
