The university works with comprehensive and coherent external communication in the recruitment of national and international students.
Unified communication concept
In this work, a unified communication concept is used to talk about the university's education, research, and collaboration, thereby strengthening the Stockholm University brand.
National students
The target group for national students includes both prospective students aged 19-35 in the greater Stockholm area and current students at the university. Communication activities are well-integrated and include advertising in both owned and paid channels throughout the year. Special focus is given to communication before the application dates in April and October, as well as at the start of the semester and special events such as Welcome Activities and Open Day.
International students
The work of international student recruitment and communication is based on Stockholm University's strategies. The goal is to increase the number of international students by increasing the preference for Stockholm University, improving awareness of and attitudes towards the university's education, and providing support and services before and during the application process.
