Communication concept for student recruitment
The university works with comprehensive and coherent external communication. In the work of keeping the communication together, a common communication concept is used to tell about the university's education, research and collaboration and thus strengthen the Stockholm University brand.

The purpose of the concept is to both increase awareness of SU and at the same time attract new students to apply to SU. The concept should work for both national and international student recruitment. It should work over time and be revised as needed based on external and internal changes. It should also be able to be used by all organisations within the university for student recruitment purposes.
The tasks of recruitment communication are to:
- provide a coherent image of the University to the target groups of national and international students
- strengthen the image of the University and facilitate student recruitment
- through the design language, which is based on our visual identity, create recognition over time
- strengthen Stockholm University as a sender
The concept is based on Stockholm University's strategies and communication policy, which contains overall goals, core values and profile texts.

The whole university communicates
The university focuses on its own content in its communication based on the motto that ‘the whole university communicates’. We focus on content and communication in the university's own digital channels all year round with the aim of giving an overall picture of the university as a leading research university. We do this by:
- Identifying specific needs of target audiences and planning, coordinating, implementing and monitoring strategic communication efforts to meet them
- Strengthening the link between communication activities aimed at different target groups - students, researchers, stakeholders
- Provide advice, support and tools that facilitate and enable coherent communication across the organisation
Tools and support
In order to use the concept, the following tools have been developed to support communication efforts.

- Images are available in the Media Bank in the ‘Student recruitment’ folder. NOTE! The images in this folder should only be used within the framework of the student recruitment concept.
