For those working in the field of study and career counselling, the counsellor network (vägledarnätverket) provides you with training and up-to-date information. You also have access to skills development and exchange of experience within your faculty and via national networks.

The network's meetings are organised by the central study and career counselling and are part of the continuing education for study and career counsellors and others with study administrative tasks at Stockholm University. Induction course for new study counsellors
In September each year, an introduction day is organised for new study and career counsellors and others with student counselling tasks. During the day, you will gain useful insights into various activities related to student services and student support. You will meet experienced counsellors who will talk about their work, hear more about international mobility, student support, admissions, graduation and equality issues etc. and practice basic conversation methodology.
The national network of university study counsellors also coordinates courses on conversation methodology, which we encourage you to take part in.
