Communication channels

Stockholm University uses a variety of channels to communicate research, education, and activities at the university.

To effectively convey your message, sometimes one channel suffices, while other times multiple channels are necessary. Our most important communication channel is the web.

Websites

Stockholm University's main website communicates education, research, and collaboration. It provides information from various parts of the university and offers knowledge and inspiration.

Stockholm University has around 200 websites in its own web publishing system. Each site has a clear role within the university's web ecosystem.

University newsletter

The University's newsletter informs about current research, education, and collaboration opportunities at Stockholm University. It is published every other week during the terms and is issued by the Communications Office.

The University's Communications Office publishes a newsletter in English about four times a year. It covers news about education, exchange, research, and campus life, and is aimed at students, alumni, partner universities, and the business community.

Stockholms universitets Magasin

The inspiration magazine "Stockholms universitets magasin," primarily aimed at upper secondary school students, is published in November each year. It is mainly distributed during the Saco Student Fair. The magazine aims to inspire higher education studies, showcase the subjects at SU, and provide an insight into student life. We involve former students, current students, and teachers/researchers to offer diverse and interesting reading. The magazine can be ordered via su.se/magasinet

Student handbook

The Student Handbook is produced each academic year and contains a compilation of useful information and answers to many frequently asked questions from our students. The handbook is available in print at Studenthuset and in Albano, or digitally here:

Studies at Stockholm University leaflet

Every other year, the Communications Office, the central study counsellors, alumni activities officers, and the International Office, together with the study information group at Student Services, produce an introductory brochure about Stockholm University and Stockholm as a destination for international students.

The brochure is used at international fairs and events that the International Office participates in.
