Website

The department’s website is the hub of our digital communication; it is part of SU’s centralised website and uses the same templates and design. We have a Swedish and an English website.

Graphic templates

We use SU’s PowerPoint and Word templates. You install these yourself on your computer.

How to download and install SU’s templates

Create your own graphic material

In the production tool, all staff can create their own materials, such as business cards, posters and certificates.

Go to the production tool

You can send files for printing to the contracted supplier directly via the tool.

If you have any questions about graphic guidelines, please contact the communications officer.

SU’s graphic guidelines

Here is SU’s graphic manual on the Staff Portal

For questions and support, please contact the communications officer at the department.

Press

The Press Office at SU’s Central Communications Department is the first point of contact for enquiries from journalists and the media. The Head of Department is responsible for liaising between the media and researchers at the department.

If, as a researcher, you need support in producing press material about your research, please contact the communications officer.

Profile pages

Profile pages are an important channel for researchers to showcase their work online. Basic information is retrieved from the SUKAT staff directory for each profile page, and you can add a portrait photo, introductory texts, a list of publications from DiVA, as well as links and files yourself. Profile pages are also an important part of the Research Catalogue.

The information displayed on your profile page must relate to your post at Stockholm University. There is a Swedish and an English version of the profile page, each with a link to the other language on the page.

You can edit your web page yourself in the Sitevision publishing system. If you need help with this, please contact Ulrica Nordstöm.

Event communication

At the Department, we publicise research and teaching events in several ways, including via the calendar on the department’s website and Stockholm University’s central website.

It is also possible to create posters, invitations and digital adverts for various events on social media. Please contact the communicator for assistance with this.

Marketing

We market our degree programmes through:

  • Providing information material to upper secondary schools
  • Fairs
  • Digital visibility on social media
