The Wooclap interactive tool is designed to support engagement and feedback.
Description of the service
Wooclap is a web-based interactive tool used to create engagement, participation and feedback in teaching, meetings and presentations. It enables participants to respond to questions and activities in real time using their own devices (mobile phone, tablet or computer).
Wooclap is primarily used in education but is also well suited for internal meetings, workshops and events. The tool supports in-person, digital and hybrid settings.
The service includes, among other features:
- Real-time interactive questions and activities
- Polls and quizzes
- Word clouds and open-ended responses
- Live visualisation of responses during presentations
- Reporting and export of results
- Option for anonymous participation
Target groups
The primary target groups for Wooclap are:
- Teachers and educators – to engage students during lectures, seminars and workshops, and to monitor understanding and learning in real time
- Students and course participants – to easily take part, answer questions and contribute without speaking in front of a group
- Administrative staff, managers and project leaders – for interactive meetings, discussions, prioritisation and rapid feedback in workshops and internal forums
How the service works
Wooclap can be used in several ways depending on the context:
- Via a web browser – the presenter creates an event in Wooclap and shares a code or QR code that participants use to join
- Integrated into presentation tools
- Synchronously or asynchronously – activities can be run live or made available for participation afterwards
Participants’ responses are displayed in real time for the presenter and can be used to support discussion, deeper exploration or adjustments to the content.

Getting started
To use Wooclap, you need to:
- Create an account using SSO
- Create an event and add questions or activities
- Start the event and share a participant code or QR code
Participants do not need to create an account; they can join directly via a link, code or QR code.
Information classification
Wooclap is a cloud-based service. Only K1–K2 data may be processed in the service.
Support
User support consists of built-in guides and help functions in Wooclap, documentation from the provider, as well as CeUL resources on interactive learning and, where applicable, support from ICT pedagogical coordinators at the department.

Pricing
Wooclap is centrally funded, and there are therefore no additional costs for departments.
