Information about Adobe software
Adobe software is sold primarily as Named User Licences.

Stockholm University has two agreements with Adobe
Adobe VIP (subscription licence)
Most of Adobe's software is available under this agreement. Licences under Adobe VIP are offered as named user licences and shared device licences (SDLs).
SDLs may only be used on computers that are used by more than one person, such as computers in a computer lab.
The licences are subscription licences, i.e. they are renewed each year on the anniversary date (30 September) for a further year. It is not possible to cancel a subscription during its term; the licence can only be cancelled on the anniversary date. However, the licence can be transferred to another user.
Adobe licences are ordered and terminated by the departments DSA/licence responsible at your department through Serviceportalen.
