Environmental consideration at work

At Stockholm University, all employees must consider the environment in their daily work.

All employees at the university should be familiar with Stockholm University's environmental policy and the policy for meetings and travel. Employees are obliged to consider the environment in their daily work, including waste management, travel, handling of chemicals, and procurement. It is also important for all employees to know the procedures for reporting environmental deviations and making suggestions for improvements.

Laboratory safety and chemical handling

To work safely in laboratories, you need to be aware of the risks associated with it. Chemicals and other substances that carry risk need to be handled correctly to minimize the risk of negative impacts on human health and the environment. Stockholm University has central rules and routines that follow regulatory requirements and support you in your research or studies.
