- Maintaining an overview of the environmental representative’s duties.
- Staying informed about the progress of environmental efforts within the department (or equivalent). This information should be provided by the environmental representative.
- Ensuring that the department (or equivalent) complies with applicable environmental legislation and other environmental requirements, and conducts self-monitoring of the operations from an environmental perspective.
- Ensuring the department’s (or equivalent) environmental goals and action plan align with the university's strategies, including the Climate Roadmap.
