Good pedagogical efforts that facilitate student learning
Stockholm University aims to provide high quality education. Therefore, with The Award for Good Teaching, the university wants to recognize good pedagogical efforts and their importance for student learning.
Since 1992, the prize has been awarded annually to one or more teachers who have promoted student learning through outstanding pedagogical efforts and who have been involved in the development of teaching.
The university president appoints the award recipients on the basis of a proposal from the CeUL's Board of Directors. The proposal has been developed by a working group consisting of experts in higher education pedagogy and representatives from the Stockholm University Student Union.
What does the award consist of?
The award consists of SEK 50 000, which is to enable the teacher to carry on developing their professional competence. They will also receive a diploma, which will be presented at the university's inauguration and promotion ceremony.
