New terms of use for university accounts from 7 September

Stockholm University has updated and modernised the terms of use for university accounts and other IT resources. From 7 September, all students and staff must accept the new terms in order to continue using the University's digital services.

The terms of use for university accounts and other IT resources have been revised and modernised. The new terms will come into effect on Monday, 7 September. This means that all users, both students and staff, must accept the new terms in order to continue signing in to their accounts.

From 7 September onwards, when you sign in with your university account, you will at some point be presented with the new terms of use. To complete the sign-in process, you will need to accept the terms by ticking a box.

After that, everything will continue to work as normal. If you use Microsoft 365, you will need to accept the terms twice, as different sign-in processes are involved.

As the new terms of use are accepted digitally, staff will no longer need to sign and submit a paper form, as was previously required.

The new terms of use are available in the Rules and Regulations
