Start learning Canvas today!
We will soon be moving to the learning platform Canvas, and you can already start preparing. A variety of support options and training sessions are available to help you get started – and you can sign up today.
From the autumn semester 2026, it will no longer be possible to create new courses in Athena. Canvas will be the platform used going forward. In February, all university staff will gain access to the new learning platform.
Because we all learn in different ways, we offer a mix of instructor-led training sessions (starting on 28 January), practical quick guides and self-study materials. You will also be able to join digital Canvas drop-in sessions for support (starting on 29 January). In addition, a tailored training course is available for designated Canvas departmental administrators.
You are welcome to sign up for training today. Before booking, we recommend checking with your Canvas coach or departmental administrator to see how your department is planning the transition.
