Self-publishing with Publit

Stockholm university has a procured agreement with Publit for print and distribution services of publications other than dissertations or Stockholm University Press publications.

Using Publit as your printer will enable you to print books, compendiums etc., without having to deal with the administration related to ordering and invoicing.

Printing with Publit

The books are printed on-demand, meaning that you do not have to keep a storage of books. After a book is ordered it is sent to print and after 4–5 working days it is ready for shipping which takes 1–2 working days.

You can choose to have your book printed as a soft cover, hard cover or paperback. A soft cover can have your measurement of choice between 105 x 148 mm (i.e. paper size A6) and 210 x 297 mm (paper size A4). Hard cover and paperback have standardised formats.

At Publit you can manage all your publications in one account. You submit information about the title and your material. When all the information is in your account you can easily order more print copies when needed. You can order any amount of copies and the price per book is the same regardless of the number of copies ordered.

Publishing with Publit

If you want your book to be available in the book store and the internet webshop simply decide the price and click "publish". The book will be available for purchase the following day. This is made possible through Bokinfo and requires a fee being paid to them. See "Pricing" below for more information.
