The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS): Postdoctoral Fellowships Short-term Program

This program provides opportunities for young pre- and postdoctoral researchers from Europe and North America to conduct, under the guidance of a host researcher, cooperative research with leading research groups in Japanese universities and other research institutions.
Research area. All fields in the humanities, social or natural sciences.
Eligibility. Citizen or permanent resident of the US, Canada, European Union countries, UK, Switzerland, Norway or Russia. Doctorate degree received within the past 6 years, or enrolled in a doctoral course and scheduled to receive a PhD within 2 years.
Duration. 1-12 months
