Create an account

To submit applications, you must create a personal account in Prisma. In your personal account you will find decisions and review statements related to your application and approve the terms and conditions for awarded grants.

Information about creating an account in Prisma

Important! We recommend that you use your official SU email address when creating your account. The international researcher identifier ORCID* is optional. If you already have an ORCID, you do not need to create a new one—use your existing ORCID instead. Please note that you cannot import CV or publication information from ORCID into Prisma.

In your Prisma account, all calls for proposals are displayed under the APPLICATIONS AND GRANTS tab. Your applications and awarded grants are also collected there.

When you log in to Prisma, you will have access to all calls that are currently open for applications.

Applying for organisational grants

An organisation can apply for funding in specific organisational calls. Organisational calls are only visible when you log in to the organisation account. In organisational calls for projects involving multiple project partners, the organisation—or the administering organisation—acts as the coordinator for the multi-party grant.

Important! Researchers cannot open such applications themselves. They are opened by staff at the Research and Collaboration Support Office who have organisational access.

To apply for an organisational grant, send an email to Mikko Roos, Alexandra Blomkvist or Carl Sandberg requesting that an organisational application be opened (always specify the name of the call and the deadline).

Procedures for financial and scientific reporting for organisational grants in Prisma

The Swedish Research Council has recently introduced a requirement that users of the organisational account (Office for Research, Engagement and Innovation Services) must approve both scientific and financial reports for organisational grants in Prisma.

Important! Responsibility for the content of the financial and scientific reports, as well as meeting the deadline, lies with the project leader. The approval is only an administrative step. To ensure that this process runs as smoothly as possible, the following procedures apply:

  • The departmental financial officer reviews the completed financial report with the project leader, selects Juliana Räsänen in the Prisma system and sends the report to her for approval via Prisma no later than five (5) working days before the deadline.
  • The project leader sends an email to prisma@su.se with the following information:
“I approve the financial report for the grant with registration number _______, project title ______.”
This must be done no later than five (5) working days before the deadline.
The financial officer and project leader will receive a confirmation email from Prisma within two days that the report has been approved.
  • For approval of scientific reports for organisational grants in Prisma, the project leader selects Mikko Roos, Alexandra Blomkvist, or Carl Sandberg (depending on who opened the organisational grant) in the Prisma system and sends the report to them for approval via Prisma no later than five (5) working days before the deadline.
The project leader will receive a confirmation email from Prisma within three days that the report has been approved.
