Teaching Sabbatical 2027- Would you like to teach abroad for one semester?
STINT, the Swedish Foundation for Internationalization of Higher Education, offers university teachers in Sweden the opportunity to teach at selected partner institutions in Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Botswana, Uzbekistan and USA during the autumn semester of 2027.
The applicant should hold a doctoral degree, be employed at a Swedish university and have a strong connection to the activities at the university. A 100% leave of absence during the stay abroad is required.
Application
As an initial step, an internal selection of candidates will be made by the Research Committee at Stockholm University in consultation with the Vice-Chancellor. Subsequently, three candidates from Stockholm University will be nominated to STINT. Please observe that the applicant does not reach out directly to STINT.
- Use the enclosed form for the application, support from your department is a requirement.
- Mark the application with SU FV-2160-26 and send it to registrator@su.se via email no later than September 5, 2026.
