Window cleaning in autumn and winter – here is the schedule
This year’s window cleaning in the university buildings will begin at the end of September. The work will continue throughout autumn and winter.

As the window cleaning will take place over several months, you will receive more information as the dates approach.
- The cleaning coordinator (lokalvårdsansvarig) will be notified two weeks before the work begins.
- A few days before the cleaning starts, notices will be posted at the entrances and in the lifts.
The window cleaning is being carried out by the university’s new contractor, Städax.
How to prepare
To ensure that the work is carried out efficiently and safely, you need to prepare your workplace.
- Clear the window sills and remove any items placed close to the windows.
- Close all windows.
- Ensure that the window cleaners can access all the rooms to be cleaned – this is the responsibility of the department.
