Floor maintenance this summer
– prepare your premises in time
This summer’s floor maintenance begins on 9 June – see the schedule to find out when it will take place in your area. Please note that offices and administrative rooms in Lilla Frescati, Frescati Backe and Norra Frescati are not included.
To ensure the best possible result, floors must be cleared of furniture. Work is mainly carried out in late afternoons, evenings and weekends.
Avoid using the premises while the floors are being treated. The polish has a strong odour and the surfaces must be allowed to dry properly for the finish to last.
Before the work starts, notices will be posted on the entrance doors with more information and a reminder not to enter the premises while the floors are being treated.
Floors in locked rooms are not treated. If you want such a room to be included, you need to make sure that the door is unlocked or leave a key in advance. If the key is already available to the carer, it will be used.
How to prepare your premises
To ensure the floor maintenance is carried out properly, you need to
- clear everything from the floor
- label furniture with the room number.
Furniture and equipment on wheels will be moved out. If anything is left in place, polish will be applied around the item, which reduces the quality of the result. For the best effect, the floor should be completely cleared.
Carpet cleaning
Cleaning of carpets is included in the floor maintenance. You must order the cleaning of loose carpets yourself via the Service Portal. Order in good time - then the work can be coordinated with the floor maintenance.
