Call for Participation: 2026 ACCESS Forum in Chile
The ACCESS Steering Committee and the Universidad de Concepción invite applications for participation in the 2026 ACCESS Forum held on 12-16 January 2026 in Concepción, Chile.
Eligibility
Researchers from all disciplines, including senior researchers, early career researchers, PhD students and postdocs are welcome to apply. Detailed eligibility information can be found here:

Travel funding
ACCESS does not directly fund participation, however some member universities offer travel grants to their researchers. Details about funding opportunities and supplemental travel grant applications (for applicable universities) can be found here: https://accesschilesweden.org/2026-forum.
Program
The ACCESS Forum brings together researchers from Chile and Sweden to address global challenges related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This year's forum will focus on five key SDGs:
- Good Health and Well-being (SDG #3)
- Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG #11)
- Climate Action (SDG #13)
- Life Below Water (SDG #14)
- Life on Land (SDG #15)
Thirteen carefully selected Research Themes (RTs) will provide a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration. Details about the RTs as well as a preliminary overview of the week can be found here: https://accesschilesweden.org/2026-forum.
