Faculty Office
The Law Faculty Office carries out a wide range of tasks. Its main function is to provide support and service, e.g. the preparation/processing of matters for consideration by the Faculty Board, the Research Committee, the Education Committee, and the Academic Appointments Board.
The Law Faculty Office also provides some support to the Department of Law regarding educational, financial, and personnel matters as well as administrative routines.
The Faculty Office ensures that decisions taken within the University (as well as by the Swedish Government, the Parliament, and other public authorities) are communicated and implemented and that rules and regulations are complied with. In addition, the Faculty Office performs a monitoring function through its follow-up of the activities of the Department of Law, e.g. regarding financial matters.
The Law Faculty Office falls organizationally under the University Administration and thus it also prepares/processes matters for consideration by the Vice-Chancellor and the University Board.

The Labor Market Council
The Labor Market Council consists of external members who together form a representative selection from the legal profession's job market.
Members are called to meetings twice a year. The Vice Deans are responsible for and lead one meeting each. During the meetings, there is an opportunity for information and experience exchange about the activities between the faculty and the Labor Market Council representatives. This exchange is significant for the faculty's strategic work in education and research.
The Labor Market Council is tasked with providing advice and support to the Faculty of Law in the development of the law program and other education conducted at the faculty. The council is also to assist the Faculty of Law in discussing and communicating current research issues.
